My Minimalist Approach to Filming B Roll (feat. Sony A7iii and Tamron 28-75mm f2.8)
In this video Sean Tucker shares his minimalist approach to filming B-roll. After years of lugging around multi-cameras, multiple lenses, gimbals, tripods, sliders, and drones, Sean decided to see how much he could get done with just one camera (Sony A7iii), one lens (Tamron 28-75mm f2.8) and one filter (PolarPro Variable ND).
Sean was surprised by how little he lost in storytelling when leaving all that extra gear at home. In this video, he also walks you through his settings, frame rates, picture profiles, resolution choices, and some ideas for capturing audio.
