The Legacy of your Photography
This is a special video, our friend Sean Tucker sits down with his Grandfather, Dennis Field, as he talks through his photo albums from his years in the Royal Navy, from 1945-1947. He traded a box of player cigarettes for a box brownie camera in Hong Kong in late 1945 and proceeded to take photos of his two years of service.
On top of listening to some of his stories, and seeing his images, Sean also offers some thoughts on how this has challenged him to look at his work beyond today, and start to think about how his images might tell stories to future generations, showing what life was like in his day and time.
