Making it as an Introvert (feat. Simon Baxter)

As an introvert I have always found it challenging to compete in the freelance photography world, but I've learnt some tricks which have helped. On a recent trip to Lindisfarne I made this video to talk about looking after yourself, choosing your photography genre, and some business tips as well when selling yourself to clients, all without having to fake extroversion.

During a recent one-to-one workshop, my client and friend @russell.middleton asked me to take a shot so that we could compare the IQ from our different setups. This is the shot I took while we stood in very heavy rain, hailstone, lightning and huge claps of thunder. The sudden drop in temperature and downpour generated some momentary mist and soft lighting. This was a 1.3sec exposure which blurred out any rain or hail. We were soaked but it was all good fun :)

This was the very first time I'd visited Glen Coe in Scotland with my camera. A challenging and wet few days but I was happy with this original comp taken by the River Coe.
