Sølve Sundsbø is an indefinible fashion photographer, awarded on September with an Emmy for short films to the New York Times Magazine.

Pop star Rihanna’s new video “You Da One” borrows some of its imagery from the work of fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø. In some scenes in the video, Rihanna writhes around with polka-dot shadows covering her curves.“Sundsbø is known for his work with shadows and manipulated light and it’s a theme he’s revisited a few times, however none sticks out in the mind so much as the editorial Points a la Ligne, which he did for Numero back in 2008,” ( text via Wall Street Journal)
