Photographer Annie Leibovitz's Shoot @ the National Archives
2.17.11. . .It was an exciting morning for National Archives at College Park, MD staff when famed photographer and documentarian Annie Leibovitz came for a special shoot for her upcoming book "Pilgrimage." National Archives conservators handled original Mathew Brady glass plate negatives of Abraham Lincoln for Ms. Leibovitz while she and her two assistants photographed them as part of her latest project which features images she took of places and objects that are associated with famous deceased people like Virginia Woolf, Sigmund Freud, Emily Dickinson and Eleanor Roosevelt.
