Do Larger Sensors Produce Different Looking Images?
Do different sized sensors really produce different looking images? The theory: larger sensors produce completely different looking images than smaller sensors.
Most photographers say that it's more than just shallow depth of field, they say that if you look at a medium format image it looks very different it's not just the shallow depth of field: It might be the color, the density, and the overall dynamic range. Really?

A larger sensor makes a smoother gradation in the image tonality, aside from displaying more detail. I think it is the lens which affects the depth of field, not the sensor.
