I’ve always seen a longer lens as a tool for being able to show more, too many people think that street photography and a long lens means getting close without doing the leg work and it rarely is. They’re much better used framing up a larger space in a way you just can’t with the distortion of a wider lens.

One from the archives, still surprising to me that I’ve been at this long enough now to have a shot I like that was taken more than a year ago. In the grand scheme of things when you compare that to the masters who had 40+ years doing it, got a long way to go.
