The Race of Gentlemen celebrates the timelessness of pre-war era hot-rodding and motorcycle modification.



Photographer Rick Wenner spends a day capturing an homage to the past with the IQ3 100MP Achromatic and the nostalgia of Black & White.

Black and white photography is a great approach to focus completely on the detail and art of these beautiful machines. Color in these photographs would look great too, but I just think that stripping color away makes you focus on the textures, lines, and shapes.- said Rick-

I went to TROG to shoot for Phase One with their new IQ3 100mp Achromatic digital back and Schneider blue ring zoom lenses. The camera is a beast! Loved shooting with it. The detail and quality of the files are simply insane.

Back to posting a few more shots from my weekend at @theraceofgentlemen. Aside from all of the amazing cars, motorcycles and people, the flag girls that start each drag race down the beach are just as entertaining. They've got more energy and spirit than you can imagine. Shot with the new Phase One IQ3100 Achromatic.

Spent the weekend in Wildwood, NJ at @theraceofgentlemen for @phaseonephoto. I was given the opportunity to document the races and create portraits of builders, racers spectators with the new 100mp Achromatic back and blue ring zoom lenses.
