#2016 favorites - She's a titan in the photography industry and deserves every bit of recognition for the decades of making art. There's plenty of imitators but no-one matches the quality of work that Sarah Oliphant produces. Her backdrops were and are one of the key reasons I have a career, clients seek me out because they want that look, the classic, gorgeous backdrops that feel ALIVE. #2016favorites continues with my shoot of the staff of @oliphantstudio who had me in the studio for a quick half-day shoot. This is still one of my favorite images EVER taken. Margot had given birth a few months prior and I wanted to feature her and her daughter in a way that represented the power of motherhood.

This is the picture that ran as the cover in the C'et Digitale Fotografie feature along with the article shown in the previous post. All the amazing Oliphant staff and pets in one picture. I've got a TON more unpublished images from this editorial but the feature is still going up in other places so I'm holding them back for now. This whole shoot will forever go down as one of my favorite ever shoot days and I'm so grateful to @oliphantstudio for letting me take over for half a day! And huge thanks to @gabrielhillphoto for putting everything together.
