Yes the rumours were all true, there's a brand new Instax format, and it's square. The first camera that takes this new film is also pretty unique, the new SQ10 hybrid instant camera. It's basically a combination of a Instax printer with a digital camera.

You can preview your image on the 3" LCD screen, add effects (exposure compensation, filters, vignetting) either in real time or after you take the image, save, or decide to print right away. The camera can even take a micro SD card to increase the amount of images you can store (internal memory can hold up to 50 images).

The brand new Fujifilm Instax SQ10 camera with the new Square format film has now joined the Instax family. The Instax Wide 300 is still the big brother, but the SQ10 has a few tricks up its sleeve. It's actually a digital camera that can also output Instax Square prints. Check out my YouTube channel for my unboxing and 1st impressions video.
