One of the issues many of us have had when shooting on our DSLR cameras is that we can only record one audio channel. This is a bit of a pain when for example shooting dynamic interviews with more than one person in the shot.
There are many ways to get around this with separate recorders, rather expensive audio units splitting the audio input or recording onto two cameras and syncing the audio in post-production.
If you don't have the budget to spend a lot of money on extra gear but have two audio recording devices that you would like to be able to plug in simultaneously, this might be a solution that could work for you. Good luck!
