Field Testing With A Legion Of GoPro's foldable Karma Drones

Engadget Deputy Managing Editor James Trew has been in a secret location with GoPro's charismatic CEO, Nick Woodman and a legion of new Karma drones ready to fly.



Under my point of view, this drone is a great idea with an amazing price if you compare it with other drones like DJI Phantom, all for only $799 or 870 euros. And they include an handheld stabilizers that usually can cost others $300.


My only doubt is the resistance again "krashes", something very typical when you are playing with drones and the cost of the replacement parts.


For example propellers cost $19.99, an arm $49,99 or the stabilizer $249,99. Then, be ready to have your pocket near but the cost is not very high.
