Who inspires Apple: Through The Lens of Michael O'Neal
Born and raised in New York, he studied graphic design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. After school, Michael worked in advertising where he began developing print and TV campaigns for a range of clients including Citibank, Hennessy, IFC, Nautica, Nike, and Target.
In 2003, Michael headed west to work for Apple's in-house graphic design group. He helped launch a wide range of Apple products and services, from the iTunes Music Store, to Apple’s entire lineup of hardware and software products.
Working in house, he was able to see a product launch through all of the various disciplines in the studio: retail, channel, packaging, web, motion graphics, film and video.
