Keep Moving with the Profoto B2: A journey to Laos with Rémi Chapeaublanc

You go where you want to go and capture things as they are. Or you stay where you are and light things how you want. These used to be the only two options a photographer had.

The #LaoSurLaMontagne project will be revealed soon! (movie and photo series) This project, mostly shot in Laos, is about the ethnic diversity in Southeast Asia. During 2 months we traveled from South to North, home staying with families in remote villages. I did it with @julespajot and @marialarouge. Thanks to #Sony and #Profoto to support my work.

But the Profoto B2 presents a third option – do both. Keep moving and shape light.

To prove this, Profoto asked traveling photographer Rémi Chapeaublanc to bring the B2 with them out into the field. This is what he did.

After many years following Remi Chapeaublanc’s adventures on his blog, I finally decided to follow my friend on the field. This time he has decided to take pictures of the North Lao People. That’s why i’m now taking you with me, to join him up there on the Mountains - said filmmaker Jules Pajot -
