Here is my workflow, also securised than Sam, but very simple.
Export card in external HD and on a NAS synology. RAID (2 drives)
The NAS backup automaticly on a second NAS (office to home also 2 drives)
The office NAS backup also on a cloud on crash plan.
At the end the backup memory card and external HD are erased.
So you have 6 backup during your work.
And after 4 + crash plan who creat many backup.

DropBox IS NOT A BACKUP SYSTEM !!! NO VERSIORING !!!
