An Evening in Space with David LaChapelle and Phase One

Phaseone.com go behind the scenes with David LaChapelle on one of his latest shoots with fashion industry muse and musician Daphne Guinness.


 All the action takes place in David’s Los Angeles studio and includes the incredible preparation and outlandish sets that epitomize LaChapelle’s distinctive style. This motion and stills commission is shot for Guinness’s music single titled “Evening In Space”.



David uses a Phase One camera kit for the shoot that includes two IQ180s, two 645DF+ cameras and an array of lenses including a 28mm, 55mm 80mm and 110mm Leaf Shutter lenses.
