Behind the Scenes "The Evolution of an Artist " ft. Kim Coates

For this project, we were hired by Tourism Saskatoon to produce a campaign showcasing some of Saskatoon’s local and international talents. For this specific chapter, we chose to feature Kim Coates as we felt he would be the perfect ambassador for the city. Working with Kim Coates was an absolute privilege. He not only was easy to work with but also came with a vision for where he thought the project should go.

The short features Kim Coates who documents his journey from his early childhood days to the present. It offers some words of advice and inspiration for others who are on their own journey as artists.

Kim Coates is a Canadian-American actor who has worked in both Canadian and American films and television series. He has worked on Broadway portraying Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire and in the lead role of Macbeth performed at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. He currently stars as Tig Trager in the FX series Sons of Anarchy. - explains Preston Kanak -
