Perfect Portrait: A Live Beauty Lighting Lesson in front of hundreds of people With Karl Taylor

Shooting on a live stage in front of hundreds of people is always a bit challenging. It’s especially challenging when you only have 30 minutes to come up with an inspirational result!





Fortunately, it wasn’t difficult to get a beautiful image of this young lady. The stunning model ‘Ophelia Overdose’ made the perfect subject for my live beauty lighting demonstration. Here I photographed her with the Broncolor Para 177, but I also photographed her with a more affordable soft-box set up too.
