Come behind the scenes on the creation of "Phoenix," a Chicago photographic collaboration between The Vanishing Cultures: An American Portrait (TheVanishingCultures.com), Dennis Manarchy (manarchy.com), and Redmoon (redmoon.org).

Combining an antique, retrofitted 8x10" film camera with a one-of-a-kind processing technique, Manarchy's 24-foot creation will live on in the vast expanse of Redmoon's amazing new venue.
