STEAL MY PHOTOGRAPH!: The Shortest Exhibition in the World by Lukas Renlund
Who said that everything is invented. Thanks our friend Anders Lönnfeldt from Finlands we have discovered a different way to promote our work: "STEAL MY PHOTOGRAPH!" Is this a joke or a great idea? I think it is nice project.
Quite literally, I am inviting passer-byers to steal my photographs - in exchange for a picture taken of where they decided to hang the photograph they stole. Anyone with the balls to steal a state of the art photograph may do so - provided that the little agreement is honored.. (saids Lukas Renlund )
THE EXHIBITION:
This video was filmed in Copenhagen on August 25th during my first ever outdoor exhibition.
Quite literally, I invited passer-byers to steal my photographs - in exchange for a picture taken of where they decided to hang the photograph they stole. Anyone with the balls to steal a state of the art photograph was able to do so - provided that they honor our little agreement.
It was all over in 30 seconds. These Art Thieves of Copenhagen came, saw and conquered - smooth criminals, you are. Thank you all for participating and making this a very special day to remember. You are all worthy of your stolen goods and I am looking very much forward to seeing where you've hung them.
