Trevor Sherwin explains lighting setups for a mountain bike shoot
Trevor Sherwin brings us along on an adventure through the Don Valley Mountain Bike trails in Toronto, ON. Utilizing the Photoflex TritonFlash kit, Trevor explains the benefits of the system while showcasing some real world lighting setups.
Here's a little project I worked on for the PhotoNews. We wanted to showcase the short flash duration, portability and overall awesomeness of the Photoflex TritonFlash. So I thought to myself, what could I shoot to put these Tritons to the test?... Naturally my first thought was to shoot downhill mountain biking. OK no it wasn't, but my friend Mike (the biker) suggested it and who am I to refuse carrying gear half a kilometre down the trail.
I will say one thing, those Tritons are very easy to carry around given their size. Also TransPacs despite having rollerblade wheels fare incredibly well on rough terrain.
