Aerobatics Photographer Justin de Reuck: Capture the images from the back seat while water-skiing in an aircraft

The South African aerobatic team, The Flying Lions first performed this stunt under the same name in 2006. In order to shoot the front cover for the annual airshow book, "Smoke On...Go" the team decided to redo the stunt again. I was fortunate enough to be chosen as the photographer to capture this spectacular event. This video is just to give an idea of what it was like trying to capture the images from the back seat of the Harvard while water-skiing in an aircraft.

 One of the images from today. Without a doubt the most challenging air to air shoot of my life. Here Ellis Levin, water-ski's his Harvard on a dam outside Gauteng. The camera ship also a Harvard, flown by Scully Levin, had me in the back trying to shoot this backwards while we too water-skied over the dam. Like I said, very challenging but oh so much fun! :)— with Faye Turnbull, Roger Machin and Abri Kriegler.
