How to Replicate the lighting techniques of "Kill Bill"

In April of 2010, I did a Kill Bill themed photoshoot in San Diego, CA. The idea was to replicate the lighting techniques they used in the film, and then make them work for strobist photography.

Working with a bunch of other people in the community, I think we came together and made it happen pretty well.
